Our Mission

Spread Surf's main goal is simple: providing the healthiest 100% Grass-fed tallow based mineral sun balm, while giving back to the community and spreading the love of surfing. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of riding waves. That's why a portion of our proceeds go directly towards providing surf supplies to those who need them most.

At Spread Surf, we believe the products you put on your skin should be as pure and real as the ocean you surf in.  Every tin we make is crafted by hand using simple, high-quality ingredients — grass-fed wagyu tallow, natural oils, and reef-safe minerals. No shortcuts. No chemicals. No filler. If it’s not something we would trust on our own skin in the sun and water, we don’t make it.

BURDEN:

We believe every surfer carries a responsibility — a burden — to give back more than we take.  We see countless kids and communities who love the ocean but lack access to basic gear: boards, wetsuits, fins, protection from the sun.  Spread Surf was created to share that weight. To lift others. To give back.  Because we think everyone should be able to enjoy the love that surfing has to offer.

BELIEF:

We believe in the power of small things making a big difference.  A tin of balm. A donated board. A moment of kindness.  Every purchase you make fuels something bigger — helping put surf gear in the hands of kids, supporting underserved communities, and spreading the joy of the ocean.  We believe the world gets better when we support each other, wave by wave.

 

Having these 3 core beliefs, we believe in crafting clean, high QUALITY products, sharing the BURDEN of giving back to our surf communities, and living with the BELIEF that every small act can create a bigger wave of impact.

Our Story

Spread Surf was born from a desire to combine a passion for surfing with a commitment to community service. We wanted to find a way to do something we love while giving back to the community. With Spread Surf, we're able to do just that, all while providing the healthiest tallow-based mineral sun balm on the market, right here from Huntington Beach, California. Made by surfers, for surfers.
